In the process of various reaction polymerization, large-capacity devolatilization, heat and mass transfer, mixing and kneading, evaporation concentration, phase change crystallization and many other harsh conditions, the material already has a certain viscosity, and with the progress of the reaction or the improvement of the solidification content, the polymer melt viscosity will also be greatly increased to become a medium and high viscosity material. Conventional vertical reactors, tubular reactors and other equipment will greatly reduce the mixing effect and self-cleaning ability, resulting in reduced polymer production efficiency, wide molecular weight distribution, unstable quality, and serious cases may lead to the normal operation of the equipment.
In response to the above-mentioned problems of medium and high viscosity materials, Cenmen Company designed a new type of horizontal self-cleaning reaction/ devolatilization equipment after digesting the design principles of foreign manufacturers and combining years of experience in the application of reaction/ devolatilization materials.
